General care instructions
- protect the sled from heat, for
example in the car when very hot, because plastic parts
could deform
- racing plastics have to be waxed
before each “drive” to insure a good gliding ability.
Before the summer break it is suggested to put on a
thick layer of wax and to only take it off and brush it
out before the next use
- check screwed connections, nuts
and lines before each use and change them if necessary
- road salt and dirt can be removed
through the use of a pressure washer on a low setting
Care of the
steering-line mounted on the sled
Lines with abrasions have to be changed.
You can order the lines for the Hornet, the European Open
and the Mid Distance from our sortiment and replace them
yourself.
